Its a boy!!! We had our ultrasound today and were amazed that we were able to see our baby in such detail. All the hands, feet, spine, bladder kidneys etc. are in good shape. We are very excited. You can see more ultrasound pics including the "boy one" if you click on the picture.

We tried out cross country skiing a few days after Christmas. Turns out it is really fun, easy and a great workout. We went to Heber City which is about 45 minutes from where we live now. Click on the picture to see some more of the pictures and video we took. We had to document for our mothers that yes it was safe even for a pregnant person!

Our first Christmas we stayed in Utah was quiet but nice. We were pretty much snowed in all day, but were able to go out and have some fun snowshoeing and making a snowman. We missed our families of course but it was fun to have actual winter weather on Christmas. Click on the snowman picture to see more of our Christmas pictures.

Sorry for the long absence we know our fans have been disappointed lately! We are going to start doing regular updates again. As you can see we have added a bird to our family. For those of you who don't know yet we will be adding a big addition in July. Baby Harvell will be arriving! "Link" our bird is our test run on parenting together. He is fairly obedient, but doesn't seem to mind crashing head first into walls as he tries to fly. That worries us a bit, but hopefully we will do better with a real child.
Winter has arrived here; we have been able to get out and enjoy the snow a little but not as much as in years past when we were snowboarding as soon as there was snow on the ground. We will have to stick to mostly snowshoeing this year, since it is a little too dangerous for me to snowboard. Daniel is playing with our worship band at church in the Christmas Eve program this year. So he has been really busy learning Christmas songs. I have just been trying to survive being pregnant! Arches and Canyonlands National Park

We finally got to explore some of Utah's famous national parks. We visited Arches and Canyonlands with Daniel's dad and friend, Evelyn. They spent the week here with us, doing all kinds of Utah activities. We had a great time with our guests standing in awe of the bizarre rock formations. The parks bring the book of Genesis to life, as they are great evidence of a global flood and is really something everyone should see sometime in their life; our guest room is open for booking!!!

Daniel's Surprise Visitors

The Ovalle's came to Utah! We had an amazing time hanging out with our good buddies. Daniel had no idea they were coming, so as you can imagine we had a good time scheming behind his back! We tried to do every winter time activity we could since neither of them have seen snow in a long while. We snowboarded, snowtubed, snowsledded, had snow fights, and ice skated.Click to see some great pictures.
